What began in Connecticut through the vision of sisters Shantel and Gabrielle grew from a simple but meaningful purpose: to provide compassionate, dependable care that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and respected in the place they know best — home. Today, as a trusted senior home care agency in California, we continue carrying that same commitment into every family we serve.
More than a decade ago, Shantel and Gabrielle experienced firsthand the emotional and physical demands of caring for their grandmother as she navigated dementia. Through that journey, they saw how difficult it could be to find support that felt compassionate, reliable, and genuinely attentive to the needs of both seniors and their families. Those experiences became the foundation for Heaven’s Hands Home Care and the values that continue guiding our team every day.
In 2024, Shantel relocated with her family to Southern California to expand Heaven’s Hands Home Care and bring that same level of compassionate support to families throughout the region. From our Woodland Hills office, we proudly provide care and support for seniors across surrounding communities. In 2025, Shantel passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind her husband and infant son. Her loss profoundly shaped the future of Heaven’s Hands Home Care and strengthened the purpose behind everything we do. Through our work, her legacy lives on in every act of kindness, every caregiver relationship, and every home we enter.

We accept private pay long-term care insurance, Connecticut home care program for elders through Medicaid, senior resource grants, adult protective services program
Private pay: Heavens Hands Home care works hard to ensure that we maintain competitive rates that allows us to provide top quality care while fairly and legally compensating our caregivers. Because we are family owned and operated. We are able to work with families at any budget.
Long-term care: haven’t seen his Home care is an authorized provider for most long-term care policies. Our experience care team can guide clients through every step of the long-term care process from initial assessment to submitting invoices and care notes directly to the long-term care provider we ensure that your documents are up-to-date so there is no delay on reimbursement.
CHCP (Connecticut Home care program) : as part of Heavens Hands‘s Home care commitment to provide quality care at any income level, we are one of the few agencies on the Home care program. This also gives our private pay clients peace of mind and knowing that if funds run out, they can still have the quality care they deserve.
Senior resource grants: senior resources at times provide provides money for respite care as well as other care needs. We have worked with them for many years and are a trusted provider.
APS (adult protective services) at Heavens Hands Home care we never shy away from helping those in need including our most vulnerable senior population. This is why adult protective services contracts with our home care agency to help intervene in difficult senior situations.
